Girl on the Move

Jailynn JoReen is a girl on the move. She is crawling EVERYWHERE and pulling up on EVERYTHING! I can't believe how much this girl has grown in such a short time.

Easter

We celebrated Easter with both sides of the family this weekend. Friday we dyed some eggs, I found some cardboard eggs to dye because hardboiled seemed like a bad idea all around. Then only Jailynn got to visit with the Santopadre crew on Saturday, poor Hailey had a fever and runny nose so she and I had to stay home. Sunday the Easter Bunny brought Hailey a slide and J some more Little People Princesses (her favorite things ever). Then we went over to Amma and Papa's for donuts, an egg hunt and baskets. Hailey must have went up and down the slide 100 times on Sunday then took an over 2 hour nap.

7 Months

Our sweet Sister Pie is 7 months old! Time is flying so fast. J is the sweetest little sister. She started solids, her tummy seems to have a little harder time adjusting to them than Hailey did, but she sure does love to eat! Her favorite so far is sweet potatoes. Her sleep is a bit of a mystery, she will sleep from 6:30pm to 6:15am one night and then be up for hours the next. She has two little nubs under her gums that so we are hoping its teeth coming through. 

Favorite things: Princesses and Hailey.

Least favorite things: Being hungry, especially in the night when she becomes a different creature when hungry. 

6 Months

Jailynn JoReen is 6 months old today! Oh our sweet sweet girl is the best thing that has ever happened to the three of us. She is such a good sport when Hailey wants to "wash her hair" or "feed her," she could lay on the floor and watch her big sister run around for hours. Jailynn's smile brightens everyones day, even though the poor girl can't seem to get healthy lately, she still always has a smile on her face. She just got over her RSV and she seems to have Fifth's Disease now. We love you sweet girl and hope you get healthy soon!

Favorite things: watching her sister, music class, babies and little princesses

Least favorite things: sleeping through the night, bottles and formula

The Plague

We cannot seem to shake the sickness in the Santopadre house lately. Poor sweet Baby J is the sickest of us all. She has been having trouble breathing, so we've been doing breathing treatments every 4 hours and she's still got a little wheeze. My poor sweet girl is so so sad. Fingers crossed some sunshine and relief comes our way soon.

5 Months

Sister Pie Baby J is 5 months old! She is the sweetest happy baby. We are all so in love with her, she makes our days so much fuller.

Favorite things: boobies and her big sister. 

Least favorite things: not being swaddled and laying flat to sleep.

Nicknames: Baby J, Sister Pie, Boobie Girl, Sweet Sister.

Happy New Year!

I don't know how 2017 can top 2015 or 2016 but here's to hoping! The girls are growing so fast I need to write down a few things just so I don't forget. I haven't been updating as often, everyone talks about "pregnancy brain" but in true Cory fashion I am opposite. I was pretty clear headed while pregnant, breastfeeding on the other hand, I'm totally fuzzy. So here we go while my brain is working..

Hailey- Sister Friend is growing up so fast. She is getting so smart and learning so much. We're still working hard on her talking, she has several words, but we're trying to get her off of "ugh ugh ugh" and pointing to get what she wants. She has also started to pee pee in the potty! Which is very exciting, we don't want to rush her, I'm thinking we'll give her at least month or two before we do any sort of potty training. She is such a good big sister. She tries to play with Jailynn, bring her toys, dance with her and give her kisses. It makes my heart so happy to see the two of them loving each other. Hailey also has at least 10 teeth now! Poor girl, they all came at once, but at least she has some now! Her favorite things are her baby dolls, cleaning supplies, Aaaamma and reading.

Jailynn- Sister Pie is the sweetest smiley girl. She is such a trooper, she loves her sister so much. Even when sister tries to "give her her medicine", put hats on her head or kiss her just a little bit too hard. She chews on everything! She is going to be our baby lead weaning girl, she is ready to eat everything we are. She is also On. The. Move. You lay her down on her back on her play mat, come back in two minutes and she is on her belly, facing the other way, with one of Hailey's toys in her mouth. Buckle down, with two mobile babies under two, stuffs gonna get cray.

I'm sure there is more I am missing. These girls do something new and amazing everyday. We love them so much we can't even stand it.
