Food

Our good eater is back! Knock on wood, the reflux has been under control lately. So we started a few new foods, all of which Hailey loves! Except, of course, french fries. Our little weirdo took one bite, made a face, and dropped it on the floor. These past few weeks of no reflux flairs we have seen our sweet girl grow so much, physically and developmentally. We are keeping our fingers crossed that those bad days are behind us and are looking forward to watching all the amazing things to come!

She loves carrots..

And baby rice crackers...

French fries not so much..

She also LOVES books. Just stay this way forever!

7 Months

Hailey is 7 months old today! Where did the time go? She is getting so long (I would say big but she still weighs about as much as a 3 month old) and her little personality is really shinning through. When she isn't in intense pain from her reflux, she is such a sweet, smiley, giggly girl! Keep growing sweet girl, we love you so so much!!

(All of her month pictures have been taken in this same 0-3 month onesie. I think this is the last one in it! It's still little loose but I could barely get the button snapped in the length!)

Favorite things: Her sit 'n stand toy with the lion face, calamari teether and her bounce around.
Least favorite things: Reflux.

Weight: 14lbs 6oz according to our scale at home.

Spoke too soon

Well, I spoke too soon when I said Hailey's reflux was feeling much better. She has been grunting and spitting up all week. After a million hours researching Sandifer Syndrome medications, we finally found out the medication she was on was only good for about 2 weeks. Our pediatrician spoke with a GI specialist who confirmed we were right and suggested a new medicine to take daily and something to give her when she has a flair. Here's hoping this medicine works and our sweet girl is back to her happy self soon.

And just to add to our stress, we kicked the sleep suit Saturday night and ever since Hailey has decided to sleep on her belly. Lord help us, this girl is going to give us a run for our money.

This is what our little prisoner looks like every morning when we get her up.
