14 Weeks

How far along? 14 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: Down 3 lbs officially.
Maternity clothes? I don't know why I even packed them away!
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep: Not great, Hailey isn't feeling well and had a bad night last night. But I've been waking up on my own anyway.
Have you told family and friends? Yep.
Miss Anything? My hair again.
Movement: I can feel a little fish swimming around sometimes.
Food cravings: Ice cream!
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of everything. Especially the bread aisle at the grocery store.
Have you started to show yet: I didn't think so, but after looking at this bump pic it looks like it.
Gender prediction: I don't know! I'm calling baby a boy but we'll find out March 19th!
Belly Button in or out? In.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I don't think I've been moody this time around, J may say otherwise, but I don't feel it.
Looking forward to: Finding out gender!!

We had an OB appointment on Friday and got to see the baby's heart beating briefly on the grainy ultrasound. Everything looked great, (aside from my weight loss and nausea that will hopefully correct itself soon) we don't go back for 6 weeks now.

Sweet Baby S....Round 2!

Surprise! We are so excited to announce that we are expecting Sweet Baby S #2 in August 2016! 

After everything we went through to get Hailey we feel lucky beyond belief to be bringing another little life into the world. We know Hailey is going to be the sweetest big sister ever and we can't wait for all the craziness to come!

This picture was taken at about 11 weeks. And although this pregnancy came along a little more normal than the last, I still am incapable of keeping a secret from J. I took a test while talking to him on his way home from work, while Hailey napped. He was very excitedly telling me about the new job he had gotten that day, I so eloquently blurted out that I was pregnant. Our conversation went something like this:

J: Wife, can you believe I got a new job today?

Me: You got a new job and I'm pregnant.

J: What are you talking about?

Me: I'm pregnant.

J: What do you mean? What are you talking about?

Me: I'M PREGNANT!

J: Wha what? Did you just take a test?

Me: Yes, I just peed on it and am staring at a positive test. No BS.

J: Shut up! Go us! Send me a picture of it!

8 Months

Hailey is 8 months old?? This is not possible. It seems like we just came home from the hospital with our little breech girl. She is growing and learning so much right now, it is amazing to watch.

Height and weight: We have no idea right now! 

Favorite things: Books, toys and looking at herself. 

Least favorite things: The car, reflux and Gerber packaged baby food. 

Cuddles with Caden

We stopped by Hailey's cousin's house today to check out their car and got to spend some time with Caden. He is so sweet and gentle with her it just melts my heart. Hailey thinks he is so interesting, he can do so many things yet he's still kind of little like she is. We need to get those two together more often, Hailey would be walking and talking in no time trying to keep up with him.
